HealthLeaders Magazine Depicts the "Care Team Architecture" at Virginia Mason

Crothall Patient Transportation associate joins other care workers in core group delivering care

Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle, WA, is among the hospitals featured in the October issue of HealthLeaders magazine's cover feature "Care Team Architecture."

The magazine includes a photo on page 26 representing Virginia Mason CEO Gary Kaplan surrounded by the care team. Included in this group photo is Crothall Patient Transportation associate Caroline De Vera. 

The article discusses how Virginia Mason has done an outstanding job providing a more seamless continuum of care as patients are served by multiple caregivers during their stay.  The hospital has innovated with respect to patient interaction and rounding. 

The goal is to free nurses and other clinicians to make the optimal use of their time while making sure patients receive the best care. Through the services Crothall provides to Virginia Mason---Environmental Services, Patient Transportation, and Facilities Management---we attempt to help fulfill that goal.  Crothall is proud to be part of the outstanding care being provided at Virginia Mason.
