February 22, 2008 Steven Braun Spotlighted for Attending to the HomelessGood Samaritan sets an example of charity that we can all follow According to a recently published Harbor Hospital Newsletter, Steven Braun, a Crothall Patient Transportation Tech, embraces the spirit of Service not only in his daily work but also outside Harbor Hospital and into the community. Along with his family, Braun collects unwanted articles of clothing to distribute to the homeless throughout Baltimore City once every month. In addition, Braun uses his own money to purchase food and make more than 30 brown bag lunches to distribute each month. “I try to be as helpful as I can be, because there are people out there who are a lot worse off than I am,” said Braun. “People are really appreciative and very grateful that we do what we do. It feels really good to help people out in this special way.”
