Make A Difference

This letter from their loved one to CEO Bobby Kutteh tells the story beautifully.

“My mother-in-law is presently in hospice care at St. Francis Hospital. She is dying. Maybe tonight, maybe tomorrow, but very soon. My husband and sister-in-law are keeping a bedside vigil. Last night, they slept sitting up in uncomfortable chairs. Tonight, they are sleeping well thanks to Shekila Jones. Ms. Jones went above and beyond to make sure that there was a comfortable fold-out chair, went downstairs to find a cot, and wiped it down to be sure it was clean. She got pillows and sheets and even checked back before she went off duty to see if she could do anything else for us. At the worst time in our lives, we saw an angel’s concern for us. It may have been a small thing in the scheme of things, but it meant very much to those hurting. We just want to say ‘thank you’ to Shekila Jones and to your group for thinking of others. It may be your business, but it touched us more than you know.”
