From the CEO

Our country is in the midst of one of the most turbulent economic times in its history. In some ways, we are all being affected by these financial troubles and are all a bit unsettled about the future. During this time when our customers are faced with increased financial pressures, Crothall’s goal is to further develop business solutions that offer cost savings while maintaining exceptional customer service.

This issue of Celebrations touches on a few of the ways Crothall is well positioned to do this. Our cover story reveals the Top 8 Ways our Facilities Management division is able to produce real cost savings for our customers while guaranteeing budgets and assuming the risk. Next, we discuss the financial benefits we can deliver to our customers when they make the decision to transition their departments’ employees to our payroll. This can be accomplished smoothly and with consideration to current employees, creating positive, long-term outcomes for both the hospital and staff.

We also continue our three-part series on the clinical equipment life cycle and how Crothall helps our customers every step of the way. Hospitals can save substantially through better management of their valuable clinical equipment.

I am extremely proud to announce that Crothall Services Group has earned CIMS (Cleaning Industry Management Standard) certification from worldwide cleaning industry association ISSA. This is like the “Good Housekeeping Seal of Approval” for our industry, and Crothall received Certification with Honors. While we are pleased with this affirmation of our systems and processes, we do not plan to rest from our ongoing mission of improving our operations and enhancing the manner in which we serve our customers.

As always, we also highlight some great stories about our truly special employees. We are blessed to have great people.
