Make a Difference Winner

It is a special kind of person who can leave a lasting impression on others simply through a natural ability to make personal connections. After obtaining emergency care for his mother-in-law, one visitor was so touched by Housekeeper Gwen Bailey that he took the time to return the hospitality and write a letter expressing his gratitude.

"I wanted to let you know about a lady who works at Baptist in the ER area (I believe with Housekeeping) that was so nice the day my mother-in-law was there about two weeks ago. Her name was Gwen Bailey. She was very nice and went out of her way to make everything comfortable for my mother-in-law, my father-in-law, my wife, and me. She had a great big smile, a great attitude, and is someone who represents your organization well! She deserves 'kudos'! My wife was so happy with her, she sent her flowers last week from the florist we own (Petals)."
