Housekeeping Week Memories

2007 National Healthcare Housekeeping Week took place September 9-15 in all Crothall units throughout the country. We’d like to take a moment to remember the fun. Here are some creative ways that Crothall employees celebrated our most important asset – our people!

BJC Hospital Northeast –
St. Louis, MO

Pizza Party! Treats and gifts were given every day. The week wrapped up with a banquet dinner served by the Supervisors.

CentralBaptist Hospital –
Lexington, KY

Employee barbecue – the client (Larry Gray, VP Support Services) served the food! With such full bellies, you have to wonder how productive the afternoon was.

Freeman Health System –
Joplin, MO

7 Wonders of the World / 7 Wonders of Freeman – Games, food, & celebrations were based on the wonders of the world, with emphasis on 7 service goals: Teamwork, Safety, Patient Satisfaction, Quality, Customer Service, Attitude, and Communication.

JPS Health System —
Fort Worth, TX

She shoots, she scores! “Toilet paper toss” and other games led to many happy prize winners.

Ocean Medical Center –
Brick, NJ

Mmmm...make your own sundae. The managers scooped the ice cream and sliced the bananas, while the employees loaded up with chocolate syrup and toppings.

Washington Hospital Center –
Washington, DC

Dunk tank! – Answer Joint Commission questions correctly, and get three chances to sink Unit Manager Robert Stein. Too bad for him, Crothall trains its employees thoroughly.
